Three Funding Opportunities Open for Energy Retrofits in Public Buildings
Washington State Department of Commerce is currently accepting applications for three types of available grants for energy retrofits. The Energy Retrofits for Public Buildings program provides this funding for public entities such as towns, cities, tribes, and other public agencies to make energy updates to public buildings and facilities throughout the state. The available grants below align with Washington's 2021 State Energy Strategy, which identifies energy efficiency in buildings and community-owned solar as key strategies for meeting climate and equity goals.
Energy Efficiency Grant Program

Projects must use non-fossil fuel devices and systems whenever possible and cost effective. Click here for complete application requirements, program documents, and other important grant information. Applications are due by Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 4 p.m.
Solar Grant Program
